About the project
Submerged Signals is a dedicated research repository focused on collecting and sharing technical data concerning Medium Frequency Direction Finder (MF-DF) coils. These specialized components were uniquely fitted to British Royal Navy submarines operating in the Mediterranean theatre during the Second World War to enhance maritime navigation and reconnaissance.
